BobCat Ranch is owned and operated by Bob & Cathie Wallick and located in a private one hundred fifty three acre valley at the base of the Big Horn Mountains near the town of Big Horn outside of Sheridan Wyoming . A willow covered stream runs year round through the center of the ranch feeding lakes and ponds. The alpacas are protected in steel shelters with high quality fences and Great Pyrenees guard dogs. The outside fields and hills are populated by horses, cows, guard llamas and game birds. The cool climate and irrigated grass pastures help the production of healthy animals and clean, high quality fleece. Elk winter on the hilltops and six beautiful polo fields in front of the ranch entrance provide entertainment in the summer. World class golf is available at the Power Horn Golf Club behind the ranch.

BobCat Ranch is only a few miles from Interstate 90 at the end of Interstate 25 or the all weather Sheridan (SHR) Airport and has guest rooms for visitors. Bob is a retired U.S. Air Force and commercial pilot with extensive ranching experience. Cathie teaches Yoga and is active with the spinning and knitting groups in the area. No expense was spared to begin the Huacaya and Suri alpaca herd with the best animals available. In addition to sale animals we provide a range of alpaca products including raw fleece, carded fiber batts ready for spinning, handspun natural colored yarns and a variety of hand knit garments. We gladly share our learning experiences in this business and provide alpaca transportation or boarding for our buyers.
